Our laboratory is focused on the regeneration of tissues and organs that were damaged by diseases or accidents.
To achieve this goal, we have researched on various categories, such as cell and tissue engineering, gene delivery system and bio-functional polymers (biodegradable polymers, hydrogels and nanoparticles). Starting from the basic studies like cell-cell, cell-tissue communication and polymer-cell interaction with diverse cell types, we are trying to figure out and utilize the biological, physical and genetic factors that are critical for therapeutic applications.
With these purposes, our interdisciplinary research involves medical science, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical science, and veterinary science.
